School Services

School-based pediatric therapy is an intervention to help children succeed in the academic setting. Our therapists work within the educational environment and with a student’s educators to help address and meet a variety of scholastic needs. Some of these needs may include better participation in the classroom, safer navigation of the school campus or improved communication with peers. Interventions may be provided in a group setting or one-on-one based upon a child’s needs. Students can be referred by their school for evaluation for school-based therapy services. FPT is eager to provide skilled therapy in local school systems under an established contract to help children thrive in the academic environment.
